I Made It… Barely

Two weeks of Spring Break have finally ended. This morning I waved and blew kisses as the beautiful, yellow school bus drove away.

I’d been telling Ben about school restarting for several days, trying to get him prepared. I was met with the same angry voice shout every time “NO SCHOOL!” I was expecting to have a fight on my hands this morning.

Surprisingly, this morning was one of the easiest we’ve had. Maybe he’s ready to get away from me for a while too.

Anyway, happy flappy party dance time has been completed and now I’m off to relax, blissfully alone.

😍

  1. Haha! Yes! I was thinking of you this morning and doing the happy dance with you! Glad to hear that the morning went smoothly – and you got some time to yourself! Enjoy! 🙂

  2. Ha ha. Love the “happy flappy party dance” you did after waving to the bus driver.
We always called it “ the freedom dance” so I can relate.
Spent much of the last three days working in my garden planting vegetables. It’s my happy place and I get to eat the fruits of my labor once things ripen.
    Glad you caught a break.

      1. Maybe Ben would be interested in helping grow a veggie garden. My son is afraid of bees 🐝 ever since he was small. He was attacked by yellow jackets and has avoided eating outside. Too bad, cause it’s cathartic for me and peaceful outdoors.
If we lived closer, I could bring you some…

        1. We have to get our yard back into shape. Ben likes to sweep dirt into the air. He likes how it looks. We’ve lost several inches of soil. Then there’s the holes he’s dug… We plan to try again. When the girls were little we had strawberries and blueberries. They loved picking berries for breakfast.
I wish you and all my WP clan were closer❣💌💌
