If you missed the start of this series, you can find it here. A lot of things will be the same or very similar.
So, maybe if I wasn’t 100% disabled, I could go work for the Guessers cuz I’m about as accurate predicting sunset as they are with the weather. Last night was another gorgeous one!
Of course, I had to do the video thing too. I can put fifty pictures in a video, and I took more than fifty.
The PreGame Show was fine. Ben ate, took his meds, (fun fact: Daughter had been giving him less of his Seroquel the previous few days cuz she was worried about running out. Was that part of his recent sleep issues, and my lack of opportunity to be a slug? Quite possible.) took his bath, and we did the Driving Miss Daisy thing without incident. Well kinda. Daughter forgot her phone at the house, which I discovered when I turned her bedroom light off, after I got The Boys settled in bed.
Stuff and Things, Food and Pill. I went to sleep around midnight and got Bounced around 5am. I guess I lose a nickel for today.
Ben kept trying to get me to go to the living room, and I kept trying to get him to come to my room. We hollered back and forth until about 6am, then I got up.
I did all the morning stuff, getting myself ready, getting Ben ready, feeding Dogzilla, checking out the sky for pretties and birdies, and waking Mr Sven up. Sven was feeling like I was feeling, not ready for the day to start.
We left on time to get Daughter, but got held up by a semi trying to make a sharp turn at a “T” intersection on the hospital campus. It was a mess. It didn’t matter that I was late cuz she was late too. Her relief was from the “Nursing Pool”, which is kinda like registry, but all employees of the hospital… they go where they’re needed. The gal was freaking out cuz she’d never worked COVID, so it took forever to give report. Anyway, we came home, Ben and I settled in the living room with Dogzilla, and Daughter went to her room to sleep.
At 10:50am I went and got her laptop to get ready for Zoom at 11am. While I was looking in Daughter’s email for the link, I saw a new email from his teacher… I read it. HYBRID SCHOOL IS STARTING AGAIN ON FEBRUARY 22!! Can I get a Hallelujah?!
I got the Zoom started and we waited for his teacher. Ben was distracted by his tablet, and I didn’t want to take it away cuz that would just make him mad… counter-productive. They did some matching of words and value to coins, and he was purposely choosing the wrong ones. Then they switched to reading a clock and choosing between two times. He did that with extreme prompting from me. After about fifteen minutes, they let him be done.
Daughter took over Couch Sittin Duty at 1:45pm and I went to get Horizontal. After Zoomin I’d been working through my Reader, and I was finally able to get caught up around 2:30pm. I was also inspired to choose Rainbows as the thing I lurve for Paula’s daily thingy.
Sunset time approaches, but I think I’ll be mostly Horizontal, watching from my bed, looking out the side door. I was just out in the backyard, and I can say there are definitely no clouds in the sky. No dramatic show tonight. I didn’t even see any contrails. PreGame Show should be undramatic too. Ben has been in a good mood all day.
A band, and a song I really like. I hope you enjoy it too.
A pretty good Adventure at the Casa today! Georgie and Gracie stopped by, Mr Crow said hello, the Zoom went okay, and the most excellent news about the return of the GLYSB! Ben was chill, the weather was nice, and I didn’t fall down. Yep, a pretty gosh darn good day! The agenda for tomorrow is the same as today’s except we Zoom at 10:30am instead of 11am. Hopefully all the good stuff will be the same too. ¡Hasta mañana!
