Hiya, Hey, and Howdy 👋 This is just a quickie to wish everyone a Happy Winter Solstice! The shortest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. Any folks in the Southern Hemisphere will be celebrating Summer Solstice, so maybe I should just change it to Happy Solstice 🤔

Things at the Casa are about to get even more Cuckoo than usual. Not only is Ben home on Winter Break, but we got a call yesterday that my “son” (a stray child that was “adopted” into the family in his teens cuz our house was safe and accepting, and I have always mothered everyone) is in the U.S. instead of Mexico City with his husband, and will be staying with us Thursday thru Sunday.😲 Alrighty then…

All of that is the explanation for why I might be around less than I already am. Here are some pictures of Sven the Grumpy Dragon. He always makes me giggle, hopefully he’ll do the same for you. And if you get really bored, there are slide shows and videos of sky stuff here.

I’ll try to get caught up on my comments, and finish my #SLS post for the 26th, but I’m not gonna stress on any of it. I have quite enough stress, and little enough sleep. Whaaa whaaa whaaa… yes, I would enjoy some cheese with my whine, TYVM!

  3. Blessed Yuletide Ms. Angie! I have missed you around the ‘sphere, but get it that life has to take precedence! Your ‘son’ coming to visit you sounds like a rather unexpected gift. I hope you enjoy your festivities, whatever they involve! 🙂

    1. Thanks Melanie! I’m lurking, I still pop in and read here and there, just not commenting much.🤷🏼‍♀️ You see how long it’s taking me to get to my own comments🤦🏼‍♀️
      I’ll be glad when it’s all over TBH. It has been more stress than fun ever since I became a parent.I don’t even get to do the Grandma thing where I get the kid all hopped up on sugar and send em back to the parents🤪😂
      I hope your holidays are stress-free🤞 and your family behaves😉😂🌻

  9. Happy happy! We are so much alike. I mother nieces. So nice to have more family to celebrate
    Not as many family gatherings this year for us. People are scared of covid. No biggie.

    1. Things are Cuckoo, so I guess that’s good🤪😂 We cooked our Big Meal on Solstice since Daughter works the night of the 25th. Younger came by ate, took a few To-Go packages, gave hugs and zipped off into the night😂😂
      Sven is such a Goof! I startled him today and I thought he was gonna do like a cartoon cat and cling to the mesh screen over his terrarium 🤣🤣🤣 He did a funky little hop-jump😂
